This is a Temari ball! Its design is based on Japanese folk art that is typically textile based and made with thread and yarn. Design Features:Sectional Printing: This Temari ball is designed to be printed in 6 separate sections, which fit together seamlessly with pins into a central core.Adhesive Assembly: For optimal results, use a medium flex CA glue and activator, or another type of adhesive, to hold the sections together. While it is possible to print the 6 sections without the core and pins, using the core greatly aids in alignment and stability. The model does scale nicely, if you'd like to change the size in Bambu Studio. I created this in Autodesk's Fusion, with the help of a tutorial from ARD Workshop's YouTube channel. I highly recommend watching his videos if you are interested in learning some fresh design techniques in Fusion. I could not have created this design without this channel.
