I've seen various temperature towers on here and some of the models have errors or arnt sized correctly.
So I thought i'd design my own inspired by 3d maker noobs version.
To get this working in Cura:
1. Import all 5 models
2. Centre the base model at X0, Y0, Z0
3. Take the next model (labeled _2) and move it to X0, Y0, Z12
- The next goes to Z22
- The next Z32
- The final at Z42
(this is assuming you've gone for 0.2mm layer height)
Unfortunately you cannot use the per model system for changing temperature or retraction (annoying ey?) So instead we can use post processing scripts, but we can only use this to change the temperature... I really wish cura would add a few more settings for this. But onwards we soldier.
To do this go to Extensions > Post Processing > Modify Gcode
Now click add script and select ChangeAtZ.
You want to add 4 of these, as we're going to change the temperature in 4 places.
Once you've added 4 you can tell it which layer
