Saw a tensegrity table on here and was inspired to make one that could actually hold a decent amount of weight.
The struts were printed with carbon PLA and the base was printed in normal pla. Use a lot of infill when printing the bases because the amount of tension on the corners will cause some flexing. To avoid this, use an infill of 25% or higher.
Print 6 struts and 2 bases.
I used the strings from paracord but you can use any material that can take a tensile force.
All of the holes are 3mm, i used screws to keep tension on the string, although you can tie them areouind the holes.
2 long pieces of string were used for the outiside, being held in place at one point, screws were added to fill in the aestethic for points already tensioned.
Any questions just ask!
