We absolutely adore the Tentacle Sync E Timecode Generator. It is such a clever and modern approach to the old problem of synchronizing timecode between cameras. Bravo! That said, we wished they had a more robust mounting system than the light duty Velcro they ship with from the factory, so we made this adapter for 1/4"-20 screws. You'll need to print this model, then install one of these threaded inserts; don't worry, no tools required, just press it in with a rigid flat surface (countertop, book, ruler, my head, etc) Then simply remove the Velcro from the rear of the Tentacle Sync, and Krazy Glue this thing onto it. Alternatively, if you're only looking to expand your mounting options, then put some Velcro on this, and attach it that way. Important note: The Phillips-head screw visible on the rear of the device doesn't hold this mount on, it actually holds the Tentacle Sync together. This design leaves that rear screw exposed for service/repair.
