This is an accessory for TentacleSync's SyncE timecode generator. You can use it to stick the supplied hook and loop tape to it and secure it on the Sony multishoe. It is only tested for Sony as Sony has springs inside the multi shoe that lock accessories in place instead of threading things down.
The original Tentacle cable is able to lock in place at the back to keep it away from the screen and lens.
