I needed a wall mount for my handheld barcode scanner but couldn’t find anything quite right. There were a few other models available, but at the time of writing, they all seemed either too large or printed with layer lines in the weakest possible orientation. So, I put this together in Tinkercad. The scanner is held in place by slight flex in the plastic, making it easy to remove and replace. The large gap next to the wall allows for added flexibility. I printed it in PETG for increased durability, as it should hold up better than PLA with frequent use. By coincidence, the mount holds the scanner in either orientation, although it was originally designed to hold it pointing towards the wall. This mount is specifically designed for a Tera 5100 barcode scanner, but it should also fit several other models from Tera and possibly other brands. The handle’s maximum width is approximately 32mm, and the depth from the trigger to the back of the handle is 45mm.
