Terrier Recruit Interstage

The Recruit was a small sounding rocket - the diameter of the Tomahawk sounding rocket, but shorter. It was launched atop Terrier boosters for a series of re-entry aerodynamic tests.

This interstage is 1:5.3 scale, made for 3.44" body tube, like found in the Estes Mercury Atlas kit. The Recruit is fashioned from BT60 body tube, and nests inside the insterstage, rather than sitting on a coupler protruding from the insterstage.

The bottom of the interstage has a well sized for Estes PSII 2" coupler to hold an avbay, with M4 threads to anchor such an avbay.
