Teseract (3D projection)

The teseract is a 4D object. It is equivalent of a square (2D) or a cube (3D). It has 8 cubic volumes inside, and as a 4D object, it should produce a cube-shaped shadow in 3D.

Note that the shadow of any n dimensional object will have (n-1) dimensions.

Example: a cube (3D) makes a squared shadow in two dimensions.
