3D printed Mud guards for the Tesla Model 3 front wheels. Installation is very easy and takes only a few minutes. No drilling or other modifications is required.
Print the parts, remove any sharp edges, blobs or other imperfections and open up the hole for the push-in clip. Rub over the visble areas with a 3M Scotch Brite pad and plenty of water to obtain a nice matte finnish.
Hardware:
6 pc M3x8mm stainless screws (hex button head or hex socket head recommended), 6 pc stainless M3 nuts. Please note that the screw length must be exactly 8mm.
Tools:
Allan-key for the M3 screws and a flat screw-driver for the Tesla push-in rivet
Installation:
- Clean the area thoroughly, there must be no sand or dirt between the paint and the printed parts.
- Release and remove the Tesla plastic push-in rived using the flat screw-driver.
- Assemble the printed mud guard and the back plate. Let only a few threads on the M3 screws grip into the M3 nuts to make maximum slack between the
