I made a calibration turtle, with sharp points on the front flippers, as well as the presence of a flat plane on a non-flat surface, and a small cutout in the flippers to show a 90-degree angle. There is also a completely flat surface on the back flippers, so you can see the top layer pattern for a print with a flat top wall. The shell has a small overhang and can show how a round shape like that will look with your chosen layer settings. Finally, the eye can show how well your printer can print bridges and circles, the latter is used in many articulated models. Named mine Jax, hope this helps with a new printer, and happy printing! :)
