This is an attempt at a holder to store the ball for the kids' tetherball game above puppy height while not playing. The holder can be folded up in order to get mostly out of the way when playing.
The design fits a pole with a 22.2mm diameter.
Version 2 is the first version released -- version 3a is a new version of the ring part, designed to grip the pole a bit so that it doesn't "fold out" an catch the line quite as easily while playing (not a big problem, but worth attempting a redesign).
The two parts are held together by an M3x40 screw. In my case it could be screwed in directly and holds without a nut.
Sketchup source included.
