Textured plant pot

My daughter asked me for a pretty plant pot for her new cactus, but she did not want a 3D printed one as they are so ugly (her words). I took that as a challenge to to create something cool and play a bit with 3D texture options in Blender. Here is the result.

I have included the parametric FreeCAD file so you can create the plant pot of your size. The file contains two helper parts, which you need for applying the texture of your choice in Blender (see "How I designed this").

If you plan to resize the model you will also have to re-mesh the exported surface first as the meshes produced by FreeCAD are not evenly distributed. MeshLab did the job for me.
