TGR DP Class Railcar

The DP class of rail cars were operated from 1937 by the Tasmanian Government Railways (TGR). The early members of this class of rail cars were petrol powered, wooden-bodied rail motors while the latter units were articulated units. One unit of this class was maintained as a track inspection vehicle through to 1996.

This model was produced by Leon Kernan of Leon's Models where it is supplied in HO scale (1:87). This model has been downloaded from Leon's Thingiverse page and rescaled to N scale (1:160). Minor corrections have then made to ensure the ability to print this model at this scale. This has been performed with the full permission of Leon Kernan.
