The $30 3D Scanner Upgrades

Loved the original design so decided to build one. It works great as is but I decided to make a few tiny upgrades to improve performance.

1. Increased the cog dimensions in 0.2mm increments on the radius to ensure perfect clicking on the headphone

I found 0.4 to work perfectly with my assembly

2. Made a few upgrades to make the turntable motion more level and smooth.

3. Improved the Crank Wheel for tighter tolerances

All sketchup files included too if you feel like making modifications. With my final setup I find that one rotation is 55 pictures which is precisely the gear ratio of 7-14-110. I suggest making turns one click at a time rather than just speeding through. Will update with some scanned models shortly
