The Car

This solar powered electric car, was one of my first detailed works back when I was in university. As a student club, we assembled a team to participate a local development agency's project events(South Marmara Development Agency - GMKA). After getting different designing ideas from my teammates, I designed this car in 2 weeks. Unfortunately, we applied the event from the wrong development category. As a result, of this, we could not provided with the funding we needed for the manufacturing. Therefore the project got delayed, then canceled(Spring 2014). Now, this is just a happy memory from my past. The reason why I am sharing is for other engineers to get an idea from my personal work. Thank you all :) Features of the car: -Upper panels that can adjust themselves by angle of the sunlight -LCD Control panel -Lithium-Ion Batteries -2 Brushless DC motors on the back wheels -Hydraulic steering and disc breaks with custom rims -2 Emergency stops (Note: Seats, Wheels, fire extinguisher and the motors are from the library.)
