The Card Box

This was not thought up by me. I posted on Facebook looking for design ideas and this was one of them.  "OK, I've been meaning to design this for board games: Quite often in modern games you'll have one or more decks of cards and then need space next to it/them for their discard pile. I thought I'd design a small box with sides that a) holds the deck on top so cards can be easily drawn from the front, and b) has space underneath for that deck's discard pile. Then I thought c) it might as well double up as storage for those cards when the game is put away, to save time packing them, and so the top and bottom parts of this box should be able to fit together to store the cards. So it needs some kind of way of sliding or clipping together so the top deck half doesn't just slip off the bottom when in use, and then probably flipping one side over means they can close together." Matt Andrews   So, that's exactly what I did. I created holes into the top that when the top is flipped over it will sit on the base.   Note- I have not printed nor tested this. If it needs something/missing something please let me know.  Update- 1-12-24 file added game card base opened. I sat looking at my design and the realized it may be a little hard to get cards to go into the base as a discard pile so I opened the base a little to help with that.  Are you looking for something you can't find?
