Engineered for maximum durability, this feeder has practically outlasted every commercial alternative. It is the perfect outdoor addition for the Pet Fun Design Contest! Key Features: Extreme Durability: Thick-walled design meant to survive harsh weather and active wildlife. Smart Feeding Stations: Features four dedicated feeding ports with ergonomic, U-shaped perches so multiple birds can feed comfortably at once. Weather-Resistant Roof: The sloped top ensures rain slides right off, keeping the birdseed dry and fresh. Simple Assembly: Modular parts that fit together intuitively with minimal extra hardware. Hardware Required: 3D Printed Parts (1x Main cylinder, 1x Base, 1x Bridge, 1x Roof, 4x Feeding ports, 4x Perches) Sturdy outdoor rope (for hanging) Super glue Screws (Optional, for reinforcing the base) Step-by-Step Assembly: Attach the Base: Secure the bottom cap to the main cylindrical body. You can use the optional screws here for extra structural strength. Install Ports and Perches: Insert the four funnel-like feeding ports into the side openings. Next, slide the standing platforms (perches) into the slots directly below the ports. Add a drop of super glue under the perches to lock them firmly in place. Add the Roof and Hanger: Thread your rope securely through the designated holes at the top of the main body. Slide the conical roof down over the rope, pull everything tight, and tie a strong knot at the top to hang it. Maker/Printing Tips: For maximum outdoor longevity, it is highly recommended to print these parts using PETG, ASA, or ABS. These materials offer excellent UV resistance and temperature stability compared to standard PLA.
