The Gentleman Deer - Nutcracker Deer

The Scarlet StagThis project is a fully self-designed and self-modeled 3D printable character figure, developed with desktop FDM 3D printing in mind.The model was planned as a multi-part print to accommodate printer size limitations and improve print reliability. During the printing process, minor surface imperfections and joint defects occurred, which are typical in complex multi-part FDM prints. These imperfections were corrected during post-processing using a cyanoacrylate (super glue) and baking soda mixture, followed by manual sanding to achieve smoother transitions and cleaner surfaces. Painting was done using an airbrush with water-based acrylic paints. After surface preparation and priming, layered paint techniques were applied to enhance depth and detail. To improve weight distribution and stability, the boot section of the figure was filled with plaster material.The connection between the torso and legs was structurally reinforced using a custom-cut wooden insert, sized to ma
