If you like plants, lights and 3D printing then this could be a nice project for you. This print is a plant pot that combines all these things together in one thing - a glowing plant pot. The special thing is that you can change the inner look from the plant pot when you cahnge the type and density of the infill pattern. You can review these changes in the slicer when you temprarely set the wall loops to zero. In the uploaded print profile you can find the variants that are pictured in the photo section. As a light strip I have used these 10m long ones from Amazon: https://amzn.to/42NRtFl (This is an Affiliate Link. When you order with this Link I get a small commission and that helps to support my work.) As filament I have used a transparent PETG Filament for the part A and matte black PLA Filament for part B and C. Print instructions: Part A has to be printed with the following settings in the slicer: Wall loops: 1 Top shell layers: 3 Bottom shell layers: 2 Sparse infill density: 3 - 7% (You can experiment here with the look) Sparse infill pattern: Gyroid, Octagram Spiral or Cubic Maximum length of sparse infill anchor: 0 Infill/Wall overlap: 40% Speedsettings (Sparse Infill: 30 mm/s, Outer Wall: 150mm/s, Inner Wall: 100mm/s) Part B and C can be printed with standard settings. The assembly is pretty straight forward. The first step is to insert the whole LED strip through the hole onto the plant pot. In the next step you can fix the end of the LED strip with some tape to the inner plant pot (part B). Now simply roll on the whole LED Strip to the inner plant pot. When this is done fix the other end to the inner plant pot with some tape. Now you can insert the inner plant pot into the outer part. If you want you can glue the two parts together. Now you are finished. If you have any questions or improvemnt sugestions please leave them in the comments. I would be more then happy to answer them. Happy printing :)
