Made these bookmarks because the "Japanese Festival Flyer" I was using as a bookmark wasn't worthy of my excitement to read the Hobbit and LOTR series.
I recently found out these were written during/just after WW1! That really peaked my interest.
Of course I've seen the movies and thought they were good but I thought these books were recently written and gained huge popularity so the movie industry was trying to capitalize on them (Eragon series, Ready Player one, Twilight, Ender's Game, and many others).
I designed these bookmarks so they tell "the Hobbit" story in a nut shell. First pages of the book it talks about Bilbo's door and hobbit hole. From there the party goes on an adventure to another door (Durin's Door). So I thought that was a cool perspective. Hope you think so also!
I printed the large one standing up because if my lithophanes come out so well why wouldn't this?...and I was right looks great......takes 15 hours though.
the small one I printed on its back a
