I came across a Youtube video by Steve Ramsey called "The Impossible Nail". He made his with wood but I thought it would be fun to make a 3D printed version. It turned out pretty cool and is a good conversation piece that I keep next to my printer. It is a simple print and the included .3mf file works great. You will need a 10d size nail to complete it and here are the exact dimensions you need:77mm length3.5mm shank diameter7.25 head diameterAn critical part to the success of this print is the oval shaped hole that the nail fits into. They are 3.7mm wide and 7mm tall. Here is how to print "The Impossible Nail: Step 1: Start the print and keep a close eye on it. When it gets to layer 248 pause the print. Step 2: Once the print is paused, insert the nail horizontally into the partially completed holes (see photos). Make sure the top edge of the nail head is below the level of the current printed layer. CAUTION! If the nail head sticks up above the current layer, your hot end
