This is my version of the ship from the old TV series The Invaders.
I used silver silk PLA to print the body and transparent PLA for the upper ports, engine and lower domes. Illumination is with 5mm LEDS.
Legs can be inserted in either flying or landing orientation.
The center section of the 'window' file holds 4 white LEDS.
Middle section is a diffuser.
Outer section is the mounted to the inside of the top.
Engine shroud holds 6 red LEDs
Each dome holds one green LED.
I added a support stand that lets you display the model with landing gear in the up or down position.
