The model wind turbine Project

This repository contains all model files that were created for a university project. Our model is based upon the two MKII and MKIII wind turbines made by 3dprintable [1, 2]. Basically, we added an active pitch control that was not present with the originals. The models contain besides others a bigger nacelle that holds the generator construction of MKII and an additional Nema17 linear actuator. Also, a version to hold a nema11-02 generator is included. The project also requires machined parts that are not present as model files. This repository will get updated whenever new model files and documentation are available. The goal with this project is to create a windmill model waister to showcase possible effects of cyberattacks. A simple attack would be to overwrite the data from the hall sensor that denotes the rotating speed of the blades so the pitch control would not be able to rotate the blades out of the wind and therefore spinning uncontrollably faster.
