The top end's chamber interior is well chamfered to provide comfort to the patient while using the device, and the bottom opening is now sized to correctly fit into a standard disposable polyethelyne urinal's opening.

The Peenlonger is a prosthetic device designed to facilitate urinary management in obese male patients with significant suprapubic fat accumulation, which can lead to urinary obstruction and incontinence. In individuals with pronounced central obesity, the pannus (abdominal apron) may extend over the genital area, causing compression of the penis and urethra, particularly in those who are bedridden or have limited mobility.
