Here is my modest attempt. I used topology optimization & reverse engineering to get as close as possible to the ideal shape. Please also have a look at my more conservative version. Weight of part: 0.52lbm (236g) Highest von Mises stress for load case 1: 140 KSI (967 MPa) Highest von Mises stress for load case 2: 144 KSI (991 MPa) Highest von Mises stress for load case 3: 143 KSI (984 MPa) Build up direction chosen in a way as to avoid surfaces with an angle smaller than 45° relative to build plate. The supports can be found in the step file as well. Feel free to ignore them. It is just a recommendation. In my company the supports are usually designed in CAD instead of using the automatically created ones from Magics, thus being able to reduce the amount of supports to a minimum. Weight of supports: 0.097lbm (44g) For further information please refer to the pictures.
