This is a pretty simple idea, a cube that you can run 3 bolts threw. There is an A and B side, both sides together can be used to build structures by using 1/4-20 nuts and bolts. Or you can use the cube with other qInch parts to make whatever you need.
I actually went and tried to build a side table using threaded rods, bolts, nuts and couplers. Its not steady at all, its flexes a lot but It still works for my needs. Down the lines I'll print more cubes and get more rods to add more support between the 4 legs to hopefully make the table flex less. All in all, it proved to be a pretty good proof of concept.
If anyone knows where I can get machined metal parts done cheaply, send me a msg. I would love this part in metal to give it more strength when trying to build things with.
**Future Plans**
At some point I might make a variation of this but with all the holes are at 45 degree angle. Don't really have any ideas
