The Stir Stick

Some time in 2020, I was not able to get any wood craft sticks. Or as I describe them, Popsicle sticks.It was the most bizarre thing I have ever encountered. There are sticks outside on the ground I thought, maybe I can make them… At the time, I was doing a lot of epoxy resin projects and acrylic paint projects. So having a disposable stirring tool was important. Out of necessity, I decided to print some of my own Popsicle sticks.But of course, I hate myself. So why stop there?After some tinkering, this is what I came up with.To this day I use them, it is very effective at mixing! The PLA is also relatively immune to acetone when compared to epoxy, so I could actually wash these off and re-use them! You can also wash with water if you are using this with paint.*** ConsiderationsYou want to print this 3 perimeters and 100% solid infill. It should be solid plastic, otherwise you may lose strength.Use any material your heart desires, just remember to factor chemical resistance to whatever
