In a collaboration class assignment, my team came up with The Stripper to address the problem of trying to break through the seals on a new DVD case. You know, when you're trying to open the new DVD you just bought, it can sometimes take longer than watching the movie (a bit of an exaggeration, but you know what I mean!).

The Stripper was developed in a class assignment in collaboration between designing (me) and marketing (them). I designed the handle from a common office staple puller made by Stanley Bostich, because I liked the feel of it in my hand. There was a storage compartment for more blades. The blades were common for Xacto knives, but must be trimmed down to fit as there's no room for that long shaft of the Xacto blades. Unfortunately, the final draft lost some of these enhancement due to time constraint.
