The Trapped Fidget

This model is a variation of another of my fidgets. This one features a ‘disc’ trapped in a ‘cage’, sealed on both ends. Flip the fidget back and forth to watch the disc spiral down the cage, like sand in an hourglass. To print the model, print the disc first. Then start printing the cage. Near the top of the cage, the print will pause. At this point, insert the disc into the cage. It should roll all the way down, but if it doesn't, make sure that it is at least below the top of the cage. Then resume the print and the cage will be closed, trapping the disc inside forever! Originally designed for an occupational therapist as a way to get her students to focus in a fun way. Hope you can have fun with it too (and maybe help focus). Designed and printed on my A1 mini.
