The Ultimate Spool Holder for Maker Select Mini

Edit: Added an Inset version which lowers the spool holder by about 1.2 cm and thickened the clips. This might help for those who intend to keep the extruder internally mounted. I have not printed this version but it should work fine with a small amount of sanding.

This is a prototype remix of The Ultimate Spool Holder (2047554) by Filamentry. I have a modified one that clips on top of my Maker Select Plus and it made a huge difference in print quality. I decided to remix the TUSH and bring it to the Maker Select Mini.

You'll need to print four of these in order to interlock. You will likely need to print them at a 45 degree angle on the Mini in order to get them to fit (I printed mine on the MS Plus). The spool will sit much higher on the holder and will probably interfere with filament guides. I intend to externally mount the extruder motor and have not designed a specialized guide yet. The thin clips have been addressed in the Inset version but they feel plenty strong to me -
