This is a model of a wasp-shaped spaceship, the Vespid. It was designed as a ship prop for DnD's Spelljammer, but it would work for anything requiring a mechanical wasp. The ship is scaled in 28mm miniature, meaning it's around 17-18 inches long. Scaling it to about 10% should give it about the right dimensions for ship to ship combat on a map.
The model is designed to stand on its own feet, owing to the way the legs of a wasp tie into the thorax in real life, but a generic spaceship or flying miniature base should work fine with a little work.
Included is a 1:1 pdf of the deckplans for the ship. It is on 11x17 paper.
The Vespid is a cargo ship, containing only a single stern chaser ballista as weaponry. IT has three decks, a cargo deck in the abdomen, a crew deck in the thorax, and the bridge in the head.
The Vespid is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. Not approved/endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizard
