The Whale Wiggler

Well I made this spring ages ago to see what types of things will print without supports, but did nothing with it afterwards. With the Animal Contest requesting animal things that move, this came to mind as an easy way to use it! Use double sided tape to stick it anywhere or add a magnet inside the pre-cutout hole in the base to throw it on the fridge. The profile is setup to print by object so you can make the spring and tail with two different materials easily. Plus, I have only ever printed the spring as a whole before, so I can't assure you that having the nozzle printing by layer and going back and forth between objects won't cause some issues. Basic PLA works great and prints nicely for the spring but the tail can be more decorative so you can use whatever you'd like. My main pictures were done with a natural/clear PLA for the spring and the Bambu blue/green dual silk for the tail. *If you are printing in an enclosed printer, this is the one time the AUX fan will be y
