A holder/housing for my old Aldi Thermometer/Hygrometer. Sometimes it seems that the little holes of the thermometer seems to be full of rain-water and the measurement failed for long time. So I made this housing which protect it from direct rain water.
Inside space is 100mm x 50mm x 37mm (hight, wide, deep).
I used 3M velcro dots for fixing the housing but there is also enough space to set some drill holes.
If you like to re-design it or design some holes please feel free to use the FUSION360 project file.
I used white PLA from Filamentwerk but if you will use it in a hot location you should use PETG. My housing is mounted in a wet area in Norther direction.
I used 10% infill with exception of the rounded roof where I used 5% infill. Scliced with CURA 4.5. Normal speed set to 70mm/s.
No support or brim neccessary.
