Thickness Gauge 1.0 - 4.8 mm

This is a thickness gauge that allows to measure thickness of narrow gaps where a caliper doesn't fit. It allows to measure thickness from 1.0 to 4.8 mm with a step of 0.2 mm. It should be printed in resin because FDM printers do not provide necessary sharpness. More, it should be printed at angles about 50-60° to the build plate to reduce the gadget error and avoid support contact points at the working surfaces (edges are ok). Exact precision of printing is the resolution of your printer multiplied by cosine of this angle. For example, is your printer has resolution of 48 mkm, and you printed the tool at 60° to the build plate, so the cosine 60° is 0.5, and your gadgets will have precision of 24 mkm at each surface, and total precision of 48 mkm. Digits are debossed on the surface. Use paint in needle bottles to fill them.
