Thickness Gauge (measuring tool) Do you want to measure a gap so small that a caliper can't handle it? This tool is for you! Very useful for small gaps or for measuring hard-to-reach areas where a standard caliper cannot be inserted. In addition, this tool is very helpful for designing, because once you’ve set the dimensions, you can pick up the block and see what it will actually look like. These blocks come in sizes of 0.1 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.5 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, 5.0 mm, 10 mm, and 20 mm—some of them in duplicate so you can stack them on top of each other and measure every dimension! The total length of all the blocks is 62.5 mm, but in reality, the smallest blocks are the most useful. When printing, 0.1mm and 0.2mm blocks are the most problematic. Sometimes you have to reprint just those blocks—it all depends on the printer’s accuracy, but I managed to do it using the settings available in the file.
