This is my take on a thin strip jig.
Use 3 x M6 bolts and 3 x M6 nuts and 2 x M6 washers for the mitre slot and slide hold down.
Use 1 x M8 bolt and 1 x nut and 2 x M8 washer for the bearings.
Use 1 x 6082RSM8 Ball Bearing 22 x 8 x 7mm or as many as you need, I used three (3) bearings.
