Zomboe's brilliant original design (here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4591 ) is one of my favorite prints on thingiverse. He said it himself: thing8 would make a great pencil cup. So here it is!
This is one of the more difficult print's that can be achieved at home with a hobby printer. Zomboe recommends skeinforge. Check out his original designs for the specifications using that slicer.
I use makerware since I use my school's Replicator 2x. Here are the specs i used (be sure to do them exactly as i do!): infill 15%, shells 2, layer height .3 mm, temp 195 C in PLA, extruding speed 60 mm/s, traveling speed 150 mm/s

Note: Because of the low printing temperature, this print is succesptible to warping ESPECIALLY on the first layer. Sometimes the outline doesn't stick before it creates the inner fill. If this happens, start the print over. THe other place where you might have problems is at the very end of the print on the tips. Sometimes the slicer convin
