Lid for Lenovo ThinkPad Trackpoint Keyboard to prevent accidental pressing of the CapsLock key.However, there may be times when it is necessary to press the key, so a notch is provided for this purpose. The reason why this is necessary is that in Japanese Windows, pressing the CapsLock key by itself toggles between Kanji and alphabetic input, so if you accidentally press it, you will end up typing something you didn't expect.Also, when using a TrackPoint Keyboard connected to a Mac, CapsLock can be toggled without pressing it together with the Shift key, which is also annoying because it toggles between upper and lower case letters when pressed accidentally. Therefore, I don't think there is much need for this model unless you are in a Japanese environment.
