Inspired by the model from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:673801 I designed this printbed frame for maximum stiffness and three point leveling. It's a solid design that I've been using since 2016 and am really satisfied with the results.

Necessary materials are:
--> 2x 187mm long 15x15mm square aluminum profiles
--> 1x 128mm long 15x15mm square aluminum profile
--> 2x 275mm long 8mm O.D. aluminium tubes or rods. These should be installed at the same time as the long square aluminium profiles.
--> The aluminum plate is exactly 202.641x162.737mm. I had a 200x200mm buildplate from an i3 laying around that worked out just great for cutting out the plate. They can be had for little money and I don't mind the missing 2.641mm from the top flat edge. I have updloaded a PDF in A4 format to print on cardstock and use as a trace to cut out the aluminium plate. For those who want to go the extra mile there's also a DXF file for
