Three way electrical connection cover

Have you ever needed to join three lamp wires in a neat way? And none of the boxes in the hardware store look neat or discreet? Look no further.

This box fits two three-way Wago 221 terminals, allowing you to connect three oval lamp wires (approximately 4.5 x 7mm). Snap locks hold the base and lid together.

Do not forget to add some form of strain relief! Small-ish cable ties seem to work well enough to prevent the wires from being pulled out. Large cable ties will slide on top of the insulation while smaller ones dig into it. Three cable clips can be hammered through the back plate at a convenient spot to secure the assembly to a wall or ceiling. Orient the cable ties and clips so they don't interfere with each other.

The snap locks may be a bit tight. Start with the long side, then do the other two sides. To re-open, carefully poke a flat screwdriver into one of the holes, along the side of the cable, then pull the screwdriver away from the mounting surface. No need to pinch
