There's been cases where the shaft of the joystick on thrustmaster warthog A10, F18 and F16 have snapped. This is made to go around the shaft and support the joystick during use. Use M4x10mm or M4x12mm counterbore bolts. You need 2 pieces of these.

This is not my original idea, just a version I made which is held by actual hardware.
