Thule Chariot Trailer Hanger Bracket Security

Hi all,

I've redesigned the Thule chariot trailer hanger for a number of reasons.
1. The original hanger would be obstructed by the kick stand.
2. The bolt, nut, or quick release can be undone and the trailer stolen.
3. The hanger comes loose over time even when the bolt is tightly fasened.

My design hopefully improves upon the original in some ways. If you decide to use this design then its at your own discretion. I will take no responsibility for its failure.
I have taken precautions in the design such as reinforcing certain areas and printing it in Prusa PCblend at 100% infill. I also tend to print slightly hotter to help with layer bonding.
You will need an M8 allen key bolt and a suitable axle.
I use the quick release axle from Cube Acid which was designed for their specific trailers attached to a Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 eMTB.


When the trailer hitch is installed it covers the bolt so it cannot be stolen.
