Thule Quick Grip Grabber Cover

The plastic coating had worn off on the grabber teeth of the Quick Grips of my Thule Ascent cargo carrier, so I designed this TPU replacement, to prevent damage to the crossbars from the metal teeth. Print vertically, with the opening against the bed.

These are a push fit, and will slightly expand to fit the tooth shape. I used Inland TPU, which is 95A shore hardness, but softer TPU should work just fine. Remove the Quick Grips from the cargo carrier, and scrape any remaining plastic from the teeth with a utility knife before pushing these on. I have already gone on a long road trip with these on the cargo carrier, and they held up great.
