The condition where your finger and thumb joints can move beyond the normal range of motion is called hypermobility. What if you could 3D print a brace/splint for it at a fraction of the costs of a custom made one or buying a universal one ? This is a first attempt to let you tweak a design and taylor it to your needs.
For this remix you need a Development Snapshot of OpenSCAD. The current released version 2021.1 does not center an imported STL file and the development snapshot does center the STL object. At the Download page on OpenSCAD and scroll down to "Development Snapshots" (https://openscad.org/downloads.html#snapshots). After installation, OpenSCAD (Nightly) , verify the 3d Rendering Backend is set to Manifold, for faster rendering, v
