This is a thumb stud designed for pocket knives that feature a nail nick. I originally made it for my Gerber Paraframe Mini, but it should also fit other knives with a blade thickness of around 2 mm. It allows you to open the knife more easily with one hand, giving older nail-nick-only knives a bit of modern functionality.
