The Thunder Tank

This Thunder Tank model is based on sketches from the original show’s animation. It’s free as a thank-you to everyone who’s supported my work. If you'd like to support me further, check out my other models.

The included STEP file lets anyone share, modify, and improve the design. I don’t plan further updates, so I hope the community continues enhancing it. Just please give proper credit.

My design goals:
Compact profile that fits 6.5" figures
Classic features plus a few extras
Independent rolling apart from treads
A blast shield with a hatch

Notes:
The treads in the photos are placeholders; actual treads are circular TPU models. Hidden thrusters and rear hatches offer storage (or a Snarf!). Cockpit shield opens without removal; front/rear cannons articulate; maw hatch opens; wire passageways front to back.

Hardware:
I used 1mm–3mm machine screws (longest: 3mm x 60mm) and 1–2mm steel pins for hatches and hinges. The STEP file shows part placement.
