NOTE: JUST ADDED THE 2 AND 3 CABLE GROUP BARS. 1-27-17 11:20AM CDT
Wanted to make a cable organizer that I could use tywraps on and could mount around the base of walls and also on the rafter beams (in attics) to route and organize cable runs. I found a few online and either they were not what I needed or didn't seem strong enough to support the cables I wanted to run. This (when printed solid) is a very strong mount and will support a large number of heavy cables or group of cables. How strong? Well that really depends on how strong your tywraps are! I screwed this down, and attached 20 cat5e cables to it with a tywrap and then tried pulling it loose and with a lot of effort I ended up breaking the tywrap before the mount would break. I printed this in ABS. You could even print them in different colors to represent different runs of cable (I.E. Data, security, fiber, etc..)
This is the 5 group version with screws between each group. I will be uploading a 2 and 3 group version la
