Tile Reptile Hide and Basking

This setup uses 200mm Square and Half Tiles. The half tile goes on the top and the full square goes on bottom.

They should snap on with a bit of a press fit, but every tile is a little different.

You can normally get this kind of tile from Lowes of Home Depot.

I was recently updating my leopard geckos tank and I wanted a better hide and basking spot for her. I love using tile for basking areas because they can be easy to work with. Normally I like to stand a rock or piece of tile on top of other rocks or bricks to basically make a combination hide and basking rock.

Last time I used a rock with a plastic hide. But i wasnt very impressed. espcially with the size as I would love to give her something she can stretch out and splat herself onto. My Blue Tongue Skink really liked it when I made his basking area much larger than him. So i wanted to do the same here.
