Tile Spacers, Cleaners, and Leveler

These are a few quick, printable tools that can help any DIYer with tile installation.The tile leveler is placed under the tile along with the mortar and can be left in place.The spacers help keep the tiles evenly spaced—who would have guessed?The cleaners are used when mortar seeps between the tiles where the grout will eventually go. This issue is what inspired the creation of this model.Let me explain. My dad was laying tile, and whenever he applied too much mortar, he had to push down on the tile to make it level with the others. This, of course, caused mortar to squeeze up into the spaces between the tiles. To solve this problem, I went to Tinkercad and designed a simple grout cleaner, which I printed in just a few minutes. They worked great and have since become a handy tool we use every time we lay tile.
