Tiller Extension Grip

This is a simple grip for the tiller extension on a sailboat. Add this to some commercially available tube and a universal tiller extension joint to make a cheap (and awesome) extension. I personally find these nicer to use than any commercially available extension I've tried. The ball at the end helps with not dropping the extension out of a tack, and the grip is good both with and without gloves.

To print, you need a printer with at least a 255mm Z height.

You can make an extension with commonly available 16mm OD, 1mm wall carbon fiber (or aluminum) tube. Also included is a version sized for 5/8" OD, .050" wall Aluminum tube- This matches the extrusions used by Harken in their extensions, and these sizes work perfectly with common tiller universal joints.
